Astwood Bank Angling Club (ABAC) is a well established fishing club with over 500 members from Redditch and surrounding areas in Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
The club has a wide range of fisheries to cover all aspects of coarse fishing. There a number of lakes available to our members ranging from "bagging up" venues to tougher lower stocked waters. All of our venues are located within the beautiful Warwickshire and Worcester countryside where buzzards, king fishers and muntjac deer can regularly be seen. We also have a large stretch of the Warwickshire Avon that is popular with Barbel anglers with regular reports of double figure fish being caught, as well as a stretch of the Arrow at Wixford.
All our venues are well maintained and host a wide range of species including Roach, Rudd, Perch, Pike, Eel, Gudgeon, Crucian Carp, Tench, Bream, Barbel to 12lb+, Chub to 5lb+ and Common and Mirror Carp to 25lb+. A number of our venues have access and pegs for disabled anglers. For more information about our venues please visit our fisheries page.
If you enjoy match fishing then we have an active match section with regular matches for all members including pensioners and juniors. More information can be found here.
We also have a forum section where you can chat to our comittee and members and also see photos of recent captures on our venues.
