SKILTS POOL
This small secluded pool is located in a tranquil part of Redditch.  At 1.5 acres, Skilts Pool is well stocked with a variety of species, predominantly carp averaging around 6lb with the odd upper double making an appearance.  In addition there is a healthy head of roach, bream, perch and tench making Skilts an all round venue offering good fishing throughout the season.  In January 2019 we replaced the majority of platforms with one being larger and disabled friendly.

Fish may be caught on a variety of methods including the pole, waggler and ledger/feeder, in conjunction with standard baits such as maggot, sweetcorn, boilies, pellet and worms.

Maggots, Casters, Carp Pellet, Bread, Worms (dendras, lob, red), Sweetcorn, Luncheon Meat, Paste, Punch Crumb (liquidised bread), Ground bait, Boilies, Particle Seed Baits (hemp, tares, etc.).  ALL OTHER BAITS ARE BANNED.

Fishery Specific Rules:
Park only in designated areas NOT on Common Lane or on fields.
Barbless hooks, max size 8.
Max 2 Rods, in same peg.
No Night Fishing.
Min 20” Landing net and unhooking mat to be used if needed.
Stay on track at all times.
Parking by the pool is limited to disabled members only, max 5 cars.
No keepnets.
