It is by the fish inn pub if your coming from ragley hall way the gate is just before the bridge on the right.

Yep I know that stretch, never fished it but always thought it looked very 'fishy' when I've driven over the bridge!
There was some very nice bream caught around there when I fished the arrow champs too.
Will be up there as soon as I get my newsletter and the gate code!!

If it's the stretch I'm thinking of it will bring back fond boyhood memories of fishing with my dad, with a half pint of warm shandy and a packet of crisps.
Can't for the life of me remember if we caught any fish though!!

Hi Members.
Just a short note the Bank Notes were posted out by me today Friday 2nd July but only second class (sorry trying to save the club money).
You will receive this shortly.
This is a super stretch as some of you know but will improve with bait going in as it has not been fished but only by a few. Good catches of Barbel, Bream, Tench, Roach, Dace reported since the open season started. The banks have been cleared and mowed but extra work is needed from peg 30 onwards as it gets into a jungle, some stands require attention. Please note NO NIGHT FISHING. The Bailiff is Phil Pitt. Please keep gate locked at all times to keep it secure. All other info in Bank Notes. Best of Luck keep us informed of any good catches. Another venue to fish at no extra cost to you the members, what a good Committee you all have, keeping ABAC the best Club in the Midlands.
Tight Lines. Roger Burton Chairman

I walked the bank about a week ago and there were 5 carp spawning & crashing about in the lillies. All fish looked in excess of 6Lb, so another reason to give this stretch a go!

Hi Drynet
Broome Ac control the fishing down to the weir but on the opposite bank.
The limit of our water on R Arrow is about peg 42 but has only been cleared up to about peg 32 extra bank clearing will be required soon to get through the jungle as the bend was once the best fishing on the arrow.
We will be looking for volunteers to help out anyone interested please contact me or Phil Pitt the Bailiff.
Fished yesterday had five of the biggest Perch in years up to 1.75 lbs got broke twice on much bigger fish and lost two plus one roach, not bad for three hours. Also Jon B. fished and had 1 barbel and several chub.
More bait going in and the fish will respond go and have a good session as we have just for a few hours makes a change fron the pools.
Roger B Chairman.
