Day tickets for friends.

Postby Diwrnach » Sat Jul 24, 2010 8:10 pm

Just a quick question, an old friend is interested in trying out fishing one day, he used to do a bit when he was a kid but hasnt had chance to fish any other time.

How does one go about purchasing a day ticket for him to come with me one day somewhere?

Can I do it over the phone?

Help very much appreciated.

Me too. Been promising my dad a day out somewhere.

He's 68 and has Parkinsons - balance is poor, so need a venue with good access and fairly safe banks, not steep. Which venue would folks recommend?

Only going on the venues I've fished so far, I would have to say either Wood Bevington (Disabled access excellent, park behind pegs), or Swan pool which is also set out with good pegs.

DAY TICKETS

Postby honsec » Mon Jul 26, 2010 1:09 pm

Day tickets are available for some of your club waters.

You will need to get a day ticket before your visit.

There are several committee members who can issue day tickets, these are spread around so you should find one near where you intend to fish, give me a call and I can advise.

As 3/4 of the earth is water and only 1/4 is land we should all spend 3 times as much time fishing as we do gardening :-)

Bradley Green has a couple of excellent disabled pegs and you will catch more fish there than anywhere else!
