Lost something big early on, mixed double maggot on six foot depth carp loaded float. Tried feeder method to no avail. Then nothing for the three hours I was there. Loads of movement about. But dead on maggots? Am I doing something wrong?

Not the easiest of our pools to start on,as it"s not very consistent and clarity can be a problem, keeping very quiet and fishing the margins can produce.
Get down to Bradley Green and fill your boots and give Wood bev another go when it warms up a bit. 8)

Thanks Hurricane, I was also told that by Paul, and the tall lad in the corn stores, wish I had gone there.
