I have fished it today having not been here for 2 or 3 years.
Have to say it looks much nicer than I remember it :D
There is a lot more greenery around and is now a very nice place to spend a couple of hours...
Managed a nice carp and a decent bream and there is a small tree fallen in the pool so we now have a nice feature to fish to

Popped in on Monday, the intention was to have a short session but as is often the case it did not go to plan.
Managed to have a good look round before heading off for the bank clearing evening at Abotts salford.
Spotted a few carp(not huge but worth catching on balanced tackle)and yes Pete it does look a pleasant tranquil place for a few hours r&r.
John had strimmed the grass the day before so it was very tidy as well.
It"s on my to do list.

Cann Lane is a great water for a quiet relaxing day. You wont catch a fish a chuck, but with careful feeding you can have a nice bag of roach, the odd bream, wild carp or tench. A proper Crabtree type water.

A nicely marked mirror off the top on freelined crust.
Be aware water is being drained off again and the level is droppin.
