A Great First Visit!

Postby richcherr » Mon Sep 06, 2010 2:10 pm

having just only joined the club i thought i would give one of the easier waters a go first. landed at 6.30am and fished until 12 noon (when i ran out of bait). lost count of how many fish i caught but reckon it must have been in excess of 60 or 70 pounds of carp (which is the most fish i have ever caught in a day). nothing big probably up to 4lbs all on the method with flavoured pellets and paste. great start, and a nice gang down there.

thornleigh or wood bevington next!

cheers

Bragging may not bring happiness, but no man having caught a large fish goes home through an alley.

Sounds like you had a great morning richcherr. Let us all know how you get on at Thornleigh or Wood Bev.

Bradley green , nice venue and an ideal place to go if you are scratching for bites elsewhere , especially through winter time when you want a bend in the rod!! I would imagine its a good place to take the youngsters to learn as i dont think you can do a lot wrong on there. :)
Effort = reward ..............sometimes!!!!
