The barbel did not want to play so apart from a few bream,perch and an eel,it left plenty of time to chase the wildlife with the camera.

Shame about the barbel, my colleague wants to know more about your camera and settings used for the photo of the bee.

All the shots were taken on a Sony alpha 200 slr fitted with a minolta 50m f2.8 macro lens.
The bee was 125sec at f7.1 iso 100 handheld and manual focus.

The mayflies were plentiful as well.
