river avon barbel

well after being with the club three years i have half heartedly attempted to land only my second barbel and very unsuccessfully until yesterday sunday!!! i landed a very nice fish very happy with it. can anyone point me in the direction of good barbel pegs at the avon i have had several trips down there and am yet to even have a bite. have heard there are some good spots down there and believe me i have put the hours in trying to find them. i was down there at 5am yesterday only to find it totally unfishable, luckily i went to somewhere else and caught a nice 8lb whisker happy days.... double figures next fingers crossed

The barbel are throughout, but the pegs in the high teens through to the high 20s are noted barbel holding pegs.
