a few issues
Just to add fuel to the argument, I was down on ASL on Tuesday evening, just for a couple of hours. I fished the margins under the trees on the far bank and had a common out of 15lb 14oz. Because it was caught in the margin this fish was landed fairly quickly and as a result still had a lot of fight left in it. Once in my cradle it went mad!!! Had I not had a mat this fish would have battered itself very badly. Point made.
Where is my luncheon meat??

Well just to further get this point across, I did my usual solstice midweek o/n last night I had a 17lb 2oz mirror at 04.25 hrs yes midsummers day was 21st but the Strawberry moon was great. Well once in my Cradle it went mad even after being rested in the net . Specimens don't like being on the bank?.
But more important at 04.10 hrs Otter spotted entering the lake coming from the river direction. So now we have more problems.
