I will be working as per usual , hope to get down soon though and see what kind of shape the place is in.

Had a walk round last weekend, looks ok the water level is up as expected a few dead ducks lying around they must have hit some ? The rope is still attached to the tree and the island.
But yes looking forward to starting especially as it's been quite mild look forward to seeing a few faces.

Only reason we can think of is to force the ducks to fly when scaring them.
They (there is a rope each side) should be gone by the weekend.

I have been promised that they will be removed tomorrow ,as its a 60ml round trip for me can I ask any members who visit the lake to let me know if they are not gone by Saturday.

Nick Rhodes an I did Monday night, obviously not casting out until midnight
that windy was savage. The bivvi stayed put thankfully but the pod got wiped out 3 times. First fish at 2am second fish at 9am. Sad to say though that Nick had to bail out early afternoon and the wind got colder so I bottled it and packed up too.
