Swims blocked

Postby HIL31 » Sun Jul 16, 2017 10:04 am

Seems the ducks are on and the shooters have blocked the end meadow.

We are aware of the ducks but not of anything being blocked? When you say end meadow do you mean the top of the lake?

This has now been resolved and the padlock will be removed. There was a slight misunderstanding of where our fishing rights finished.

Don't forget you can only fish 2 pegs past the wooden fence.

I guess they still have a bit of time left to clear up any remaining ducks , sounds like we are going to be left with some though.......and they are going to be hungry!

We were there on 11/01.18 and at least 15 4x4s turned up to have a pop at the remaining "tame" quackers, so they are probably thinned to an acceptable level.

Oh two other observations were firstly good news the main track has had its holes filled in . But the bottom swim at the shallow end is now devoid of grass as they have been feeding the ducks near there . Still not long if the weather is kind ? Never done a Feb night though.
Look forward to seeing everyone.
