IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the renewal of the lease for the Abbots Salford Pool has been subject to an important change in that its primary use will now not be as a fishing venue.
This has come about because of a change of lessee and there is no opportunity for us as an angling organisation to affect the decision.
We have however managed to come to an arrangement with the new owners to allow us to use the venue for both day and night angling during the months of February through to the end of August. The committee believe that this is the best offer we can get and is the correct course of action in order to offer specimen angling to our members even though the lease terms are not ideal.
Please note the lease terms for the Abbots Salford River have been secured and there are no changes that will affect our members.
We are requesting that you pass this information on to fellow club members and we are posting notices at all our venues.
We are also very interested to hear your comments on the matter and any suggestions you may have.
It has been a very difficult period for the committee but hope that we can continue to rely on your support. You can rest assured that we will not only maintain the venues we have but to look for improved and better facilities for our membership.
