What waters historicaly fish well in the winter on our books?

Bradley green will always get you bites no matter how cold it is.
River arrow if water on it should produce a good days fishing too

If you're after Pike, try the Stour at Clifford Chambers.

Thats interesting, the place is literaly just down the road from me, only fished it a couple of times though and only ever caught bream.

Generaly fish with lures for pike, not sure how easy the Stour would be to lure fish, alot of lilys etc.

Might take another wander down there with my lure rod then :)

Managed a couple of hours down Clifford today, had one take on plug but hook didnt hold, saw it turn was only a jack, but a decent sized one, maybe 6 or 7lb.

Alot of leaves on the top makes things difficult, also loads of weed a foot or two under the water, but I will definately be going back :)
