Pole bush size help

Postby Ian Kings » Sun Apr 18, 2010 8:08 pm

If anyone could help source a pole tip bush (internal or external) to fit my whip 2 section WITHOUT cutting back for a light elastic up to a No6, I would be grateful.

I have scoured manufacturer websites, but they don't like giving away full technical details about bush dimensions. I have even emailed a few, but still they seem to be unhelpful.

I have measured the inner diameter of my pole tip at 4.0mm and the outside diameter at 4.5/4.6mm.

If anyone has bushes they could measure and let me know the brand, model , size etc, I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks

Ian

Ian,

Take your top section of the whip with you to a tackle shop, the corn store kid is very helpful, and they will sort you out with the correct size of bush to fit your whip top and chosen elastic.

Some places will even cut your pole and fit bush/elastic.

:D
