LITTER
We are a successful club, we do NOT need members who will not abide by the club rule of taking litter home. The land owners we rent our waters from very often complain to the committee, mostly about litter and parking. We need to stamp out this litter culture, please take your litter home. If you se...

I would really like to see a news area where the latest and greatest can be posted without our members having to click and search for information. A photograph of one of our own venues, or even all of them as a slide show, in place of the photograph shown would be nice. Check out http://www.baymalto...

AGM
Thanks Nick, it is always nice to see new faces at our AGM, even better when we get feedback. The raffle was excellent with lots of prizes donated by Stu from the Angling Trust. You would be amazed at the amount of effort went in to organising and holding our AGM and I was pleased it went so well. N...

swan pool
Hi Roy,
Typically the carp are 2 to 5 lbs, but there are bigger ones. There is a monster in here that people keep hooking but cannot get out, we have no idea what it is. An eel over 4 lbs was caught from this pool also.
Lots of nice Roach and the odd Tench too!

Tuesday Evening Open
Last nights match was won by Ben Sutor who weighed in 80 lbs, the follow up weights were 51 lbs, 50 lbs and 45 lbs.
Not bad for a 3 hour match on a club pool.
Shame about the turnout, check your fixture list for the next club match.

Felix is correct, fishing for under twelves is free providing they are accompanied by an adult club member. The fishing on a casual basis was too wooly, you could define casual as once a month or three times a year, even if all agreed on the definition who would police it. So it was decided to remov...

Hi, Pegs 21 and 22 are always good, there are some lilly pads out in the pool that you may not be able to see at the moment. My bet would be peg 21 fished at 7 to 11 metres on the deck just to your right to avoid lillys. Bob Evans our match manager is perhaps the best guy to call for info, you can f...
