Swan Pool carp mouths

Hi, fished here today, and caught a lot of good commons on feeder, a lot of the fish have very badly damaged mouths, if any on some, seemed to be the larger fish tho, those under three pounds looked lovely all over, anything over that also had a lot of body and scale damage also. Hi Peter, what time you meeting up? You getting ready for the hill walk? Ha ha. I'd rather do the hill for the big fish than bradley green anyday. Walked around skilts on Sunday tea time, as my daughter and bf were fishing there (yes family all members now). Pegs and banks not too bad for clearing. ...

Large Heron seen on three visits to Skilts

I've reported this coramant heron now, as I pulled a quite poorly f1 out about three pounds and been well attacked. I've reported it to the association which was on the poster in the hut at skilts.
Hopefully pop down for a fish on Friday if I can finish early Friday... Roll on the river season tho
