first session at skilts

good first session at skilts today. peg 9 about 10 metres out on the quiver tip with groundbait and dead maggots. nice bag of c. 30lb+ of carp, tench, crucians and a few perch.

as an ex-member recently rejoined i was surprised to see the notice at bradley green instructing members to go no further than the farmyard in vehicles. the notice was dated december 1202 .do you not think this should have been mentioned clearly on the website and in the purchased membership pack? h...

Hello,

ive tried on 2 ocassions to get onto this complex for a look round but cant get the lock open, anyone else having this problem?

well the carp certainly dont know its winter. had a short 2 hour session today and had 8 carp up to 7.5lbs. what a generous water. then off to swan pool for an hour or so, just a couple of roach. nice to get out of the house though.

just done an 8am -1pm session on the Avon, peg was in the early 20's. fishing the tip with swimfeeder filled with maggot and hemp and a sleeper rod with boile and pva bag of pellets. managed a chublet and a minnow on the tip. plenty of features around the peg (reeds, overhanging trees etc.) but rive...

well no fishing for me again this week but im doing some archaeological work on a farm overlooking our stretch of the avon and ASL so i will get the bino's out and see who's fishing (if anyone). might even take the spinning rod in case i finish early :wink:

met a chap down at BG the other week fishing with is son and grandson? im sure he recounted a story about a mate of his losing a pole in the summer. checked the pole on ebay (not that cheap).
